I realized something today. Blogs have the capacity to annoy me. I had read a viral one that someone posted on Facebook(first red flag) and by the end my blood was boiling. Now, the first issue is that I was emotionally immature enough to let someone I did not know from Adam affect me.
The second issue is that I think we take the word of others too seriously. I think blogs are useful (duh, I have one!). But sometimes blogs/internet give people this false sense of power. They can vomit out a conglomeration of offenses and then hide behind their anonymity. OR, they can comment on the offenses of others and engage in a "cyber war."
Before I become a hypocrite and engage in that very thing, let me cut to the chase: This blog is meant to encourage others and at best, provide a means of therapy for myself. In the least, it is "art." I want to apologize if anything I've ever written has carried with it a "conquering" air. Things I say really aren't that cool. I hope that they at least point you Christ and to search out the answers for yourself in the Word.... not send you on a power-trip or into commiseration, thinking you and I are entitled to some emotion I am lamenting.
Convicted blogger,
Lys
